Well, it seems to be working out for me. I have noticed a difference in the past 2 days already. I have more energy. As for weight loss, I won't check it or post until the end of the week, my weight fluctuates day to day and I'd rather not be distracted by the scales every day. Didn't exercise today, but that is just the way it goes. Little sis was up at 6am, it is very hard for me to be up before 6am. But maybe I will go to bed at 9pm tonight and set the alarm for 5:30am. Boy that sounds extreme. But there was a time when I regularly got up at that time and it wasn't that long ago.
It was a long day with my girls, little sis is getting in the last of her teeth and is in pain. Big sis has started biting. again :( It wears me down when they fight. Being stressed with the kids is a BIG food trigger. I just give myself permission to eat away frustrations after they are in bed. Bleh, emotional eating sucks and just makes me feel worse. But tonight I tried a different approach. I knew I was approaching the "after the kids are down binge" state. So rather than just juice and veggies for dinner I ate the same dinner I fixed for them. Not on the detox plan, but better than eating nachos or a big bowl of cereal at 8pm, or wait, make that 7pm. It was an early night for little crabbypants and big crabbypants got sent to bed early when I walked in on her biting little crabby on the arm. The evidence was a set of angry red teeth marks on my baby's upper arm. Oh the joys. Good thing those 2 girls are seriously the cutest. and usually the sweetest. So now I am drinking my last round of juice. and then it is only tea for me til bedtime. Which might be sooner than later. If only my bed wasn't covered in clean laundry. and the dishes would wash themselves, dry themselves and put themselves away.
My dear sweet hubby brought home lots of lettuces (a great sweet variety) kale, strawberries, grapes and kiwi for me! and bananas, but those are for our monkeys. He is being 100% supportive and is my biggest cheerleader. And I am so thankful.
