8 more days . . .
Good news first. I stepped on the scale and found that I lost another pound, so that is 5 pounds in 13 days. Not bad. Bad news, I still have cramps and feel a little tired. And a little moody (poor husband),but it is a good deal less than my usual symptoms.
Not much else to report, oh, tried the mushroom soup from Nourishing Traditions. Skipped the alcohol and salt. The butter/oil is for sauteeing, I only used 1/4 the amount. And I added cauliflower to give it some bulk. I am amazed at how fluffy and "creamy" the cauliflower made the soup. It tasted like a cream of mushroom soup. Not really a fan myself, but if you like cream of mushroom, you'll probably like this. Oh and I added garlic and Tony Chacere's salt free seasoning (guess I use mushroom soup IN recipes, rather than eating it plain) Or maybe soup didn't really sound good because it is a warm sunny day here and I spent an hour outside walking, then another hour playing in the backyard with baby. Smells like grilling outside.
8 more days, only 8 more days. It has been a while since my last "coffee break" probably need to do that tomorrow.
I've been using the Smooth Move tea again. The laxatives (horse pills) with the Whole Body Cleanse seem to do nothing for me. I've found that by steeping the tea for just ten minutes around 8pm, I am regular the next day.
That's all folks, time to spend time with hubby and baby :)
smooth move? um, no thanks. Just be careful with that tea, it is TOXIC in itself. Speaking of doing without laxitives...Little Miss Regular has had not problems since I ran out of fiber and laxitives. As I mentioned before, I do the prune/apple hot tea slush for breakfast, and have 2 servings of vegie and fruit juice throughout the day, but I am regular. So far still holding that 7 in 7 weight loss. ;-) So happy I did the extreme detox. I still feel really energetic and am back to eating "normal" food.
ReplyDeleteHola! :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, Joseph and I are doing well. We have SO much energy!! It is such a wonderful feeling! We have had 3 great soups. The one that I posted..awesome!!! The other we have to figure out the ingredients but here is the one we made with beans that we got from the Natural Foods Store in Rapids.
3/4 cup chopped beans
medium onion
handful of carrots
stalk of celery
handful of spinach
couple slices of sweet potato
couple cloves of garlic
a small handful of cabbage
All of this was sauteed in 3 tablespoons of cocunut oil.
Bob's Redmill 13 bean soup mix
1 cup of the bean mix
1 1/2 tablespoons of chili powder
1 tsp. sea salt
dash of pepper
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of northwoods steak seasoning for effect :-)
Combine both batches. We put them in the crockpot. We also followed the beans preparation. :-)
Mmmm!!!!!
We have both found that we REALLY enjoy spicy soup!!!! Mmmmmm!!!!
The enema is scheduled for tomorrow!!! We'll let you know how we're doing with that. Have a great night!! :-)
It's Easy Being Green Smoothie! Yummy!
ReplyDelete1 cup red or green grapes..we used green
1 medium orange, peeled, halved
1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks, core included
1 medium banana, peeled
1 carrot, halved
2 cups of fresh spinach, washed
1 medium apple, quartered
6 cups of ice cubes
This recipe came with our Vitamix cookbook. thought we'd share.
Joseph is out the door with his drinks and I am about to do the same. We are definitely getting the hang of it and keeping organized for being at work which is quite necessary. Coffee enema is still on for tomorrow. It has been hard for us to get everything done, dry brush, walk. :-( that part is frustrating yet with CCD last night, I didn't get home until 8. :-( oh well, we are doing what we can do and that's what counts, right?!
Have a wonderful day!
The spicy bean soup is yummmmmmy, thanks for sharing. I didn't have any spinach or sweet potato, and I added tomatoes, so it turned out like a vegetarian chili. it looks so nice, I don't want to blend it. But I will.
